Selim Martin – Politics in the Shadow of Mesopotamia Archeological Research
Abstract: In the second part of the seminar; Two famous archaeologists, Gertrude Margaret Lowthian Bell, and Thomas Edward Lawrence, known as Lawrence of Arabia, in the Paris Peace Conference in 1919 It will be seen that they each have an important role. Going back to the past of both, how Archeology Science grew the first seeds of the Great Middle East Project in Mesopotamia will be discussed with historical sources and visuals and documents taken from Bell’s own archive.
