Established in 1982 as the Faculty of Science and Literature and commencing its educational activities in the academic year 1991-1992, our faculty has been providing education as the Faculty of Science since 2010. Within our faculty, there are a total of six departments: Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Statistics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. While our Computer Science and Biology Departments offer education entirely in Turkish, our Physics, Statistics, and Chemistry Departments offer 30% of their education in English, and our Mathematics Department offers education entirely in English.
As a faculty within a research university, our academic staff, who conduct projects and studies shaping the future of our country, are committed to educating you to become respected and responsible individuals in society, prioritizing universal ethical values, free-thinking, and making significant contributions to society in social, scientific, and cultural domains as innovative individuals.
