Abstract: In the presentation with the topic of “Communication and Interaction in Distance Education”, first the opportunities and limitations of distance education are compared with the traditional face to face education environment and explained. Then, it is defined what the communication and interactions are where it is considered to be a limitation in distance education, and how the student-content, student-lecturer, student-student, and student-medium interactions can be accomplished effectly in the distance education is endeavored to explain.
